Sustainability is a key component of our strategy

Climate change, world population growth and the ensuing depletion of resources – not to mention issues like human rights and fair working conditions – are all challenges that we must face together. As the focus increasingly shifts to sustainability and environmental awareness, entire industries are being forced to rethink their business models.

Reducing our carbon footprint: climate neutrality by mid-century

Our global reduce program aims to make OQ Chemicals climate-neutral by the middle of the century. It is a key part of our strategy. Switching to renewable raw materials is one of the first major steps that we have taken in connection with ISCC Plus certification for our German sites.
